Bracken Lane Partners is focused on assisting private company owners with achieving their goals. We pride ourselves on our ability to support owners and their companies throughout the corporate lifecycle. 


We excel in this by advising in two areas:

Sale of Company ("Sell-Side") EXECUTION

Each owner is going to have unique goals that they are hoping to achieve with a transition of ownership. Situationally, this can range from selling 100% of the company (a complete exit) to finding a new partner who is willing to acquire a majority or minority position. 


Bracken Lane Partners’ objectives are to provide owners with the tools and resources to strategically evaluate their options, and to achieve superior results by executing our sell-side process.


Highlights of our process include:

  • Design custom process strategies based on owner goals
  • Lead the creation of all marketing materials (Teaser, Confidential Information Memorandum, Management Presentation)
  • Lead the development of a defensible financial model
  • Develop the "right" list of appropriate prospective buyers and investors
  • Manage the interface with prospective buyers and investors
  • Act as the first line of defense throughout the diligence period
  • Quarterback the deal team
  • Provide owners with a range of highly qualified buyers

STRATEGIC BOARD ADVISORY & SELL-SIDE PREPARATION

We believe that lower and middle market companies that aspire to a strategic transaction (someday) can greatly impact their value by implementing certain actions or processes prior to running a transaction process.  Bracken Lane Partners offers advisory work in this area to help companies be well prepared and positioned for a potential future event. Engagements of this type tend to be flexible as each company will have unique goals, objectives and timelines. Additionally, we bring a deep value-add network (commercial bankers, accountants, legal counsel, etc.) to help support the strategic goals.  


Some of our past advisory engagements have included:   

  • Developing long-term growth plans (with financial model)
  • Strengthening integrity of financial reporting and statements
  • Performing strategic analysis on company and its competitors
  • Evaluating transformational growth opportunities with management
  • Identifying potential weaknesses (as viewed by potential buyers)
  • Advising companies on acquisition strategies (buy-side support)
  • Working with senior management on organizational planning
  • Providing updates on market conditions and industry activity
